Soho Bikes, London

, July 19, 2017

Found in the belly of Berwick Street, Soho Bikes is one of London’s newer cycling cafe-store setups. Whether you’re shopping for jeans or magazines, Soho Bikes is well worth marking as a waypoint for its coffee, snacks and collection of delicious apparel and equipment for mountain bikers.

Soho Bikes operate an unusual retail model for their bike and repair shop. Instead of stocking a range of sizes from popular models, the store occasionally brings in a range of frames, only then publishing inventory on their website. This curated approach is ambitious but has drawn a following in the capital, not least because quality mountain bikes are hard to find.

Santa Cruz, Trek, Intense and Orange make up their pillar frames, available to demo. Spare parts from Enve, Race Face and Fox are available for purchase, while in protection and apparel, Troy Lee, Giro and Von Zipper make up most of the inventory.

Drop-in for a coffee, repair and check out their blog for upcoming events.
