Haglöfs is Scandinavia’s biggest outdoor equipment manufacturer, and gear like the Actives Zip Top is the what their reputation is built on.  They focus on sustainable manufacturing, with this garment being made entirely from recycled fabrics.  The Actives is a multipurpose base layer, witha 2 fabric construction, providing warmth and excellent moisture wicking properties.

Even at 190g, the Actives top is the warmest base layer I’ve used.  I over-compensated and had to remove layers the first time I used it.  The fit was snug but not tight on my frame, with the offset seams making it comfortable against the skin all day.

The potential uses of this top are manifold; it makes an excellent base layer beneath a shell for cold winter’s days, but could similarly be worn singularly on a hot day ski touring.
