For skiers and boarders who want to extend their seasons beyond a northern hemisphere winter, SASS Global Travel (SGT) present one epic freeride and backcountry experience in Argentina. Trips run between late July and early September from San Carlos de Bariloche, located in the foothills of the Andes. Since SGT partnered with the local SoulMax lodge in 2011, clients have been within walking distance from the lifts at Cerro Catedral, adding a touch of comfort to long days on the mountain.

Coaching and Guiding

The coaching and guiding services included in this itinerary are notable. Your everyday guidance will be given by a crew of pro skiers including Michelle Parker, Chris Coulter, Jamie Heim and Nathalie Gough, whilst coaches help clients gain experience and vital safety skills for handling the backcountry. We’re a big fan of SGT’s focus on performance and efforts to make the most of a stimulating environment to coach, guide and improve ambitious talent. For students at Sierra Nevada College, SGT have even opened up the opportunity for riders to participate in accredited courses outside time shredding.
