Vermont-based manufacturer Darn Tough is dedicated to building the perfect sock, and stands by this commitment by offering an unconditional lifetime guarantees for all its products. Darn Tough was founded in 2004 by Ric Cabot and has remained focused on socks ever since. Casual crew and running models are now part of the collection, building on top of a hiking foundation.

Ric’s father provided the manufacturing backbone having established Cabot Hosiery Mills in 1978, later extended in 2016 with a Nantanna facility for finishing, packaging and despatch. Most recently, in 2021 a second Vermont mill was acquired in nearby Waterbury to allow Darn Tough to increase production with the help of 96 new machines.
