POC Print Glove

Founded in 2004, POC are a young Swedish company who started out specialising in snow sports protection. They have now seamlessly segued into three main areas: snowsports, cycling and eyewear. Pushing environmental awareness, POC’s ‘Bug Series‘ is an innovative range of protective gear of which 1% of each purchase is donated to an project in the Amazon Rainforest.
The POC Print Glove is from their snow range. It is based on technology from motocross and is aimed at racers as well as the spring skier. It is a lightweight, tight glove with reinforcement in the knuckles which offer protection from gates. It is very supple and comfortable with minimal insulation; ideal for spring skiing.
I found the glove to be tight at first, owing to it’s leather construction. But it soon loosened off and proved a snug fit. Even in spring slush, the Print Glove remained waterproof and didn’t overheat. Overall, this is an ideal glove for the spring skier or racer who can afford to carry a warmer pair in a backpack for colder days.
