Nebesa Chalets in Western Slovenia near Triglav National Park

, March 10, 2024

Originally opened in December 2003, Nebesa is a boutique, Scandinavian-themed eco accommodation with four, two-person cabins located in western Slovenia on the border with Italy. The four chalets are designed to inspire quiet relaxation, fittingly placed on a plateau at 900m overlooking the transition between southern Mediterranean landscape and the Julian Alps. The recent additional of solar panels and two EV charging locations indicates a doubling-down of the environmental credentials from the family-owned property.

Self-service breakfast is included in the nightly prices so expect local organic produce – butters, jams, wine, beer, salami, fruits, cheese and wines. Other meals aren’t included in the price so request a catered addition to your booking before arriving (notice required), or bring your own food and use the in-cabin kitchen. Hiša Franko is a nearby fine dining restaurant to note for one of your meals (Nebesa can arrange a taxi – €55 for the round trip).

As well as having an on site gym, Nebesa also has a small swimming pool and sauna. Massages can also be booked in advance – €75 for 70 minutes.
