London Fields Lido is Hackney’s premium tub – an iconic 50-metre heated outdoor swimming pool, first opened in 1932. Part of the burgeoning run-swim apparatus of the E8 neighbourhood, London Fields Lido is relatively new in terms of upgrade – the pool was reopenedd in 2006 after falling into disrepair over two deceased.
